Its ok...

Being a big fan of any mechanical / mecha art, and i tend to have an opinion when ever i see some, note this is my opinion and you can take what you like from it, i think this pic is fairly good, the proportions work and it looks like a machine/robot, with that said i think it has the potential to be better, since you have it on your computer you should think about colouring it, i would ALWAYS consider a higher score if the picture had colour, its not hard and even for a "Rough Draft" or practice picture always try to colour it as well, practicing doesnt just involve line work, you need to practice colour as well so why not add it to every pic you do, secondly regarding line work, if your drawing on paper (as i tend to do) go down to the news agents/corner store and buy a fine tip CD marker or Fine Tip Marker (black) and go over ALL your line work carefully, then use an eraser and go over all the lines, ensuring you get every pencil line you can see, the resulting picture looks cleaner and crisper, also it scans in alot more easily and stands out more, theres a trick to EASILY add colour to pics this way. If you want to know more about using the comp to colour your work just drop me a PM, (note i use MS paint to colour and it works fine).
